FIRST LEVEL Adventure Riding
Whether you are new to riding in the dirt or already have some experience, everyone should start with mastering the basics. This 2-day co-ed class will teach you the 3 pillars of success: Line Choice, Body Position and Bike Control. Regardless of your experience level, this course will challenge you and lay the foundation for proper riding technique so you can maximize your enjoyment on the trail. Learn slow speed clutch control, balance, turns, braking, acceleration and hill skills. We’ll also cover non-riding techniques such as bike set-up, bike pick-up, and line choice. Our goal is to give you the confidence you need to ride on the trail, but we guarantee you’ll have fun in the process.
While this is a “hands-on” clinic designed to help improve your skills while on your own bike, we’ll take time to explain each exercise and components in-detail and then demo the exercise before having you ride the exercise yourself. This allows for both visual and audible learners to get as much as possible out of the training and ask questions even before riding the exercise. This course will break down each skill into 3 major components: Line Choice, Body Position, and Bike Control. 1) Line Choice – You’ll develop the skills and visual acuity to look and think ahead of the bike, searching for an appropriate line, clearing or avoiding obstacles, and averting emergencies if possible. 2) Body Position – You’ll learn how to properly and fluidly position your body on and over the bike to maximize controllability. And 3) Bike Control – You’ll discover how to manipulate the bike’s controls (throttle, clutch, handlebars, suspension and brakes) to realize the bike’s full capability. Together, these skills will improve your confidence, enhance your riding skills and help maximize your overall riding enjoyment!

NEXT LEVEL Adventure Riding
Maybe you’ve been riding for a few years or you took a Level I Adventure Riding course earlier in the year and are ready to up your game. Our NEXT LEVEL training curriculum is designed to fine-tune your existing skills and equip you with new skills to ride better, tighter and more controlled in varied off-road terrain.
NEXT LEVEL students can expect specialized training that will equip you with proper riding techniques suited for the terrain and challenges we face in real-world adventure riding. We’ll review and expand on your existing skills, including braking and trail stops on a hill, learn hill re-start and hill rescue techniques, explore other intentional break-traction scenarios, and provide training and tips to turn tighter and with more control in level and off-camber environments.
